ColorRecall Privacy Policy
ColorRecall is published by Youwen Zhang. Questions: omuuz.com@gmail.com.
Summary
ColorRecall does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or a developer-operated data backend. Client records and photos are processed on the device.
Data you enter
You may enter a client’s name, phone number, email, preferences, sensitivities, formula records, result notes, next-time notes and photos. This content is stored in the app’s private local container. The developer does not receive it.
Photos and permissions
ColorRecall asks for access when you choose to add a photo. Selected photos are copied into the app’s storage. You are responsible for having appropriate permission to record client information and images.
Backup, restore, export and sharing
When you export a ZIP backup, CSV file or individual record, ColorRecall creates the file locally and opens the iOS share sheet. The destination you choose may process that copy under its own privacy policy. Import reads the ColorRecall backup file you select.
Apple services
Apple may process purchase, device, account, fraud-prevention and transaction information under Apple’s terms. ColorRecall does not send client records with the paid App Store download.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on the device until you delete them in ColorRecall, erase all app data, or remove the app. Copies in device backups or export destinations follow those systems’ retention rules.
Children
ColorRecall is a professional recordkeeping tool and is not directed to children.
Changes
If ColorRecall adds an account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising or another off-device collection method, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
